Elrond’s Home

In honor of release of the Hobbit trailer earlier this week, I’ve taken it upon myself to read the Hobbit.

63 pages deep and what I like best thus far is the way J.R.R. Tolkein describes Elrond’s home.

His house was perfect, whether you liked food, or sleep, or work, or story-telling, or singing, or just sitting and thinking best, or a pleasant mixture of them all. Evil things did not come into that valley.

Hopefully that’s how people describe my house.

That does sound like an amazing place, The Hobbit was easily my favorite Tolkien book.
