These past couple of days have been tiresome. I’ve spent a lot of time doing schoolwork, making scratch at my job, sleeping on hard floors, and staying up late doing nothing. I wish that I had something to show for all the effort and time I’ve invested lately, but alas I don’t.

To awaken my spirits this morning (since I’ve been up since 4:30 AM), I recited to myself one of the greatest inspirational quotes from one of my favorite movies, Cool Runnings:

Well, let me tell you what I see. I see pride! I see power! I see a bad-ass mother who don’t take no crap off of nobody!

Hopefully today goes well for y’all, and you don’t freeze your royal Rastafarian nay-nays off.
